Terms and Conditions of Sale

References to “Tyre Point Denton”, “we”, “our” and “us” throughout the Terms and Conditions refer to this Company.

1. Bookings

Specific times may be booked for more complex services, new tyres, and mechanical work. If you have a booking, please be punctual. Late arrivals may impact our ability to complete any work on time or result in rearranging your booking. All bookings require your vehicle to be with us by 9am unless stated otherwise.

2. Deposits

If we take a deposit to secure your book and you cancel within 48 hours or do not show up for your confirmed booking date, your deposit will be non-refundable.

3. Cancelling Bookings and Work

Drive in customers have the right to cancel at any time before the instructed work has commenced - there will be no charge providing no costs have been incurred. Where costs have been incurred, you will only pay for the work completed or the cost incurred. Payment for costs incurred will be payable prior to the removal of the vehicle.

4. Storage Charges/Vehicles Not Collected

Under normal conditions, no storage charges will be applied, however, storage charges will be payable to Tyre Point Denton in relation to any abandoned vehicles or vehicles not collected from us for a period of 14 days following completion of the work undertaken by Tyre Point Denton on such vehicle. Any vehicle not collected over 30 days will be sold to offset storage charges. Storage charges are payable at the rate of £40 per day.

5. Payment

Face to face payment. We accept cash, credit or debit card payment only.

Payment in full is required on completion of any work and prior to the removal of your vehicle.

Where we carry out work on behalf of a business/company at the decision of Tyre Point Denton we may agree to 30-day payment terms. Any payment not made within the 30 day payment window will accrue interest at 5% per day up until the day and including the day at which the outstanding payment is made. 

6. Removed Parts

Removed parts from your vehicle will be disposed by Tyre Point Denton. Disposal will be in accordance with current environmental regulations and legislative requirements. A fee may be charged for this service. However, any fee will be explained and agreed before work commences and included within any quotation.

7. Removed Tyres

Tyres that are removed from your vehicle will be disposed of by Tyre Point Denton. Disposal will be in accordance with current environmental regulations and legislative requirements. A fee for this service will be included in any tyre quotations given and is not an additional fee.

8. Exchanges

Once fitted to your vehicle any new tyre, wheel or any other part cannot be exchanged. Part worn tyres have 7 days to report any faults and request an exchange. Part worn tyre exchanges are subject to inspection and at the discretion of Tyre Point Denton. Any faults caused by misuse and abuse will not be exchanged.

9. Refunds

Subject to your statutory rights (which shall not be affected by this provision), it is not possible to offer refunds after the purchase of any parts that have been used on your car. If you believe that a tyre or wheel we have fitted is faulty, we will offer you the option of purchasing a replacement while the original part is sent to the manufacturer for analysis. If the manufacturer confirms that the product is faulty the cost of your replacement purchase will be refunded.
